CCU’s education licensure and degree programs provide a unique combination of theory and practice to help you develop the skills you need to be an effective teacher and make a meaningful impact on the next generation of learners. The University offers both licensure and non-licensure undergraduate programs in early childhood, elementary, and special education. Students can also earn graduate degrees in special education and curriculum and instruction. All courses are offered 100% online and incorporate a Christ-centered worldview—a cornerstone of the University for more than a century. The flexible format makes it possible for you to take one class at time and still have time for work, family, and life's adventures. The University also offers generous transfer credit options and opportunities to earn credit for prior life experiences. CCU supports active military, veterans, and spouses by offering tuition discounts, on-base class options, and a dedicated military support team.

Colorado Christian University's Alternative Teacher License program is a one-year program designed for non-licensed teachers who are teaching in a Colorado public, charter, or private school. You will receive supervised coaching in the classroom, and 15 credit hours of graduate coursework may be applied toward earning a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. The combination of classroom teaching and graduate coursework may lead to an institutional recommendation for an initial teaching license, the standard entry-level license for Colorado educators.
