Uncompahgre Board of Cooperative Educational Services
About
Uncompahgre Board of Cooperative Services hosts ourĀ Alternative Licensure Program, West Central ATL. West Central ATL is a two-year program. A hybrid of coursework is required over two years, focusing on content standards as the core of the work.
Candidates create and present a LiveBinder at the completion of the program, which houses all of their work. Candidates who need to take required content courses through CMU can take these courses concurrently. Within two years, candidates must complete the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse coursework in an online format.
This program helped me transition from engineering to teaching. It gave me the tools I needed to be successful as a new teacher. I really enjoy teaching and am happy that I went into this very rewarding profession.
