Aurora Public Schools (APS) is the fifth largest public school system in the state of Colorado with over 40,000 students, and also one of the most diverse school districts in the state. The district has 59 schools: 4 early childhood education, 25 elementary schools (P-5), 5 P-8 schools, 1 gifted and talented K-8 school, 6 middle schools, 1 6-12 school, 1 P-20 Campus, 4 comprehensive high schools, 1 vocational/technical college, and 4 pilot schools.
