Teacher Ambassador
This is my eighth year at Weld RE5J School District and the administration has been the most significant part of my professional growth. I have become a better educator because of my administration’s belief in the power of a good teacher. They believe in my ability to make a difference in my students' learning. Our district's shared vision aligns with our goals as educators. Weld RE5J is a district that truly cares about its students, its teachers, and the community. We are a team and a family at Weld RE5J and we are making a difference for all of our students.

Why I Teach
Ever since I came to the United States, education has been a huge part of my life, molding me into who I am. I love being an educator and I strive to share my passion for learning with my students. I teach because I get to experience seeing my students succeed in life long after they’ve left my classroom. I teach because I can shape the minds of a future generation. I teach because, by teaching, I never stop learning. I teach because, at the end of the day, my class could be the most stable time in a student’s day. I teach because, as a mother, my own children mean the world to me and I sure hope that most of my students mean the world to their parents or their grandparents. As an educator, I have committed myself to being a positive role model to my students, to have a caring attitude so my students feel understood and appreciated for exactly who they are, to have a strong presence in my classes so my students know that I care for them and their education. I teach because I am more than a teacher when I do so.
