Program Info

Designed for those who want to make a difference in the lives of students grades 7-12, our curriculum covers a wide base of topics within the education field, from foundational teaching methods to diversity and inclusion in the classroom. You'll gain a thorough foundation of common and unique teaching pedagogy before teaching in a local classroom for a semester. By graduation, you'll feel confident and capable of leading a middle or high school classroom, and you'll be prepared to take the state licensure exam.

We shape thoughtful leaders who are ready to make an impact on the next generation and help them understand the importance of education to better serve a local and global community. In addition to foundational coursework, you will work with your advisor to select a licensure content area that aligns with your bachelor's degree. Available content areas include Art, Business, English, Math, Music, Science, Social Studies, and World Languages.

All coursework is held in a fully online, asynchronous format. All field practicum and student teaching hours must be completed in-person at an approved Colorado school.
