In this one-year program, you will receive core preparation instruction, to give you the foundational knowledge around theory and the skillset to apply the learning. Some content will be taught in person, while other assignments and activities will happen asynchronously. Upon completing the course/program, you will have met CDE licensure requirements. Alternative teachers will be assessed based on the teacher quality standards. Assignments and observations are aligned to the standards. You will demonstrate knowledge of these standards through engagement, practice and observations. Program leadership and your school principal will evaluate and provide feedback on your growth.
