Program Info

This program is for those who already have a valid Colorado teaching license and are looking to add a Special Education Generalist endorsement. This endorsement can be rolled into a master's degree in special education.

This 24-month program starts any semester (Summer, Fall, or Spring).  Students spend the summer in hybrid online and face-to-face courses. Students spend fall and spring semesters with their cohort gaining field experience in regional schools. During this period, students continue to engage in coursework and seminars both online and face-to-face. This process results in licensure and a graduate teaching certificate but students may choose to pursue additional graduate courses to fully complete their Master of Arts in Education.
